Hoop It Up Basketball Ages 4-6

Together parent and child will work to learn passing, dribbling, and shooting skills. This program is not a league experience but an interactive skills program designed to teach the skills of basketball using fun games. Each player receives a junior basketball as part of the program. Open to Boys and Girls. Each player needs a parent present at each session ready to participate. Must be 4 by start of program.

Annual Gingerbread House Contest

How it works:  You and your team- comprised of a civic group, cub scout pack, or other community group is invited to construct an architectural masterpiece that is one of kind and submitted for judging.

Houses may be constructed using base kits. All materials in the construction process must be edible. - Candies must be unwrapped. Awesome prizes for individuals and teams competing. Points awarded for originality and creativity.
When to submit your entry for judging:  All entries must be dropped at the Municipal Building at 830 Poquoson Ave. on  
Saturday, December 12, 2016 or earlier by 9am-12noon.
Once  the judging is complete the Community Recreation Office will display  them at Farm Fresh Poquoson.
