Youth Recreation Basketball League 
Now Registering

Season Runs Early December 2016–Early March 2017

Registration Deadline: NOVEMBER 18, 2016

Age Divisions within the League:
HOT SHOTS: Ages 6, 7 & 8 co-ed not yet 9 as of March 1, 2017. (Lowered hoops)
(Minimum age –must be 6 by 3/1/17; no younger players accepted)
Ages 9 & 10 not yet 11 as of March 1, 2017 Boys & Girls
Ages 11 & 12 not yet 13 as of March 1, 2017 Boys & Girls
Ages 13 & 14 not yet 15 as of March 1, 2017 Boys & Girls
Ages 15 thru those in 12th grade at Poquoson High School (with high school playing eligibility remaining)

Cost per player: $70,
 non-resident: $80 ($5 discount for siblings).
Games begin in early January. Practices begin in early December following evaluations and team placement.

Halloween-Treats that are Tasty & Frightening

Make your own hard candy lollipop treats for your sweet snacks and chocolate pretzels with candy molds and drizzles! We will have all of the frightening decorations to make them scary or less frightful, but definitely
sweet. Open to kids ages 7-13, includes all supplies, plus samples that you make.
Date: Saturday, October 29  10:30am-12:30am
Cost: $16.00 residents/ $26.00 non-residents
Deadline to register October 26.
Minimum of 8.

Hoop It Up Basketball Ages 4-6

Together parent and child will work to learn passing, dribbling, and shooting skills. This program is not a league experience but an interactive skills program designed to teach the skills of basketball using fun games. Each player receives a junior basketball as part of the program. Open to Boys and Girls. Each player needs a parent present at each session ready to participate. Must be 4 by start of program.
