
Old Station #1 was built during the Summer and Fall of 1969 and was occupied in December 1969. Due to being heavily damaged during Hurricane Isabel it was condemned in September 2003. After the completion of the new station it was demolished in December 2008.
New Station #1 was occupied on November 19, 2008 and a dedication ceremony was held on February 7, 2009
