The Air Force from Langley will be spraying the City of Poquoson (weather permitting) for mosquitoes from Monday, October 3rd through Wednesday, October 5th. The spray flights will be from 4:30pm to sunset when the mosquitoes are most active. Area beekeepers should protect their hives as the spray is deadly to bees. Also, residents who may be allergic to the spray should remain indoors for at least 30 minutes after the spraying.
