Public Hearing
CITY OF POQUOSON
PUBLIC HEARING
The Planning Commission of the City of Poquoson will hold a public hearing on Monday, April 16, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at 500 City Hall Avenue to consider the following:
- A request by Michael Greenwood and Robert Moses, contract purchasers, and John C. Daily, Sandra Graham and John Graham, property owners, to amend the City’s Comprehensive Plan for 2008 through 2028 by designating future land use for Poquoson Tax Map Parcel Nos. 27-10-4, 27-10-4A and a portion of 27-10-3 from General Commercial (GC) to Village Commercial (VC).
- A request by Michael Greenwood and Robert Moses, contract purchasers, and John C. Daily, Sandra Graham and John Graham, property owners, to rezone approximately 1.9 acres of property located behind Langley Federal Credit Union, specifically identified as Poquoson Tax Map Parcel Nos. 27-10-4, 27-10-4A and a portion of 27-10-3, from General Commercial (GC) to Village Commercial (VC).
- A request by Michael Greenwood and Robert Moses, contract purchasers, and John C. Daily, Sandra Graham and John Graham for a Conditional Use Permit to allow residential dwellings above the second floor in the Village Commercial District, pursuant to Article XI., Section 11-3 of the City’s Zoning Ordinance, for the properties identified as Poquoson Tax Map Parcel Nos. 27-10-4, 27-10-4A, and a portion of 27-10-3.
- A request by Michael Greenwood and Robert Moses, contract purchasers, and the City of Poquoson Economic Development Authority for a Conditional Use Permit to allow residential dwellings above the second floor in the Village Commercial District, pursuant to Article XI., Section 11-3 of the City’s Zoning Ordinance, for a portion of the property identified as Poquoson Tax Map Parcel No. 27-1-88.
- An ordinance amending Article I. General Provisions, Sections 1-08 and 1-04 of the Site Plan Ordinance of the City of Poquoson by adding provisions to allow commercial parking areas to consist of pervious materials and to add a definition for Pervious Surface.
- An ordinance amending Article 2. Definitions, of the Subdivision Ordinance of the City of Poquoson to include a definition for Pervious Surface.
- An ordinance amending Article I. General Provisions, Section 1-3 of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Poquoson to include a definition for Pervious Surface.
- An ordinance amending Article 8. Requirements of Final Plats, Section 8-3 of the Subdivision Ordinance of the City of Poquoson to include the requirement that approved subdivision plats depict Resource Protection Areas and contain a notation in reference to an undisturbed 100-foot RPA buffer.
- An ordinance amending Article XI.IV. Environmental Management Overlay District, Section 11.4-5 of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Poquoson to include the depiction of Resource Protection Areas and contain a notation in reference to an undisturbed 100-foot RPA buffer on approved plats.
