T-Ball Beginner Parent/Child Program This program is designed to teach the basics of throwing, catching, and hitting a ball from a tee. Activities are designed to increase hand and eye coordination, throwing skills, and motor skill development. Field Hockey for beginners! Ages 5-7 Girls. 5 Fridays 6-7 pm. Dates: Fridays September 10, 17, 24, October 1, 8. Location: TBA As a Pixie Stick, you’ll get to play like the big girls as you learn the basics of field hockey. This program is designed to teach the skills of field hockey to young players and get them started on their first experience. Learn proper techniques, teamwork, strategy of the game, and just have fun. Included in registration each player will receive a ball, stick and t-shirt. Program #106 Deadline: August 31. Minimum: 12. Max of 25 participants. Instructor: Darcy Chiappazzi, PHS JV Coach Cost: $56 per player. Returning Pixie Players Cost: $42 All players must play with a mouth guard, shin guards. mouth guard & shin guards each session. |

Must be age 4 by May 31, 2010. Kickstart is a program designed for the soccer beginner. This is the basic introduction to the game of soccer. It is not a soccer league, but a 4 week instruction & play period for 45 minutes each week. Cost: $44 per child. No sibling discount; additional $10 for non-residents. Registration is first come first served basis. One session is planned. Dates: 4 Tuesdays September 14, 21, 28, & October 5, 2010. Instructor: Heather Deaver Time: 5:30-6:15pm.
