Annual Christmas Parade Update (Posted 11/4/2020)

It is with great disappointment that staff announces the cancellation of the 2020 Poquoson Christmas Parade. This decision was reached after much deliberation and the recognition that the continuing COVID-19 public health emergency and Virginia’s current restrictions on the size of social gatherings and social distancing requirements makes it impossible to conduct the event this year. The decision also reflects the paramount importance of ensuring the safety of the parade’s potential attendees, participants and parade staff. We look forward to offering the City Christmas Parade in 2021.
