The Poquoson Police Department proudly services the City of Poquoson by enforcing the laws and regulations of the Commonwealth of Virginia and the Ordinances of the City of Poquoson. By preventing and deterring crime in Poquoson, the Police Department preserves and maintains a safe and secure living and business environment in Poquoson. In day-to-day activities, the Poquoson Police Department provides assistance and friendly service to all persons in our city, while in emergency situations it provides on the scene medical assistance to all persons in need.
