Youth Athletics
Poquoson Parks and Recreation Operates both a spring and fall soccer league.
Registration for the Spring League is underway through February 25. Visit poquosonrec.com for more information and to register for the league.
Additional Recreation Sports have included an annual youth basketball league in the winter.
Information for 2021 has not yet been released and we anticipate an announcement if and when we are able to hold
a league this season in Mid-November. No information is available at this time.
The Department operates a Spring Soccer League from Mid March through May each Spring.
Other recreational activities include Kickstart, Field Hockey Clinics, Instructional baseball Clinics, softball clinics, and more
In the City there are volunteer organizations that also utilize City Facilities and are managed by an independent board.

Skills stations and instruction, to develop your hockey skills.Time: 5:30pm to 7:00pm.Cost: Poquoson residents: $50/$60 non-residents.

Running Club For Kids- May
Running Club: Ages 7 and Up.Kids are natural runners, but whether they are running with you or in an event, They require special care at every step of development. This 4 week program consists of running for pace, cadence as well as healthy habits, nutrition, attire, injury prevention, and sportsmanship. This is a program that is non-competitive and promotes pride in accomplishment and personal improvement at any level. Each week the group will meet for approx. 60 minutes.Required equipment for participation is a pair of comfortable running shoes and water bottle.No exceptions on shoes.Club Meeting Dates: Mondays in May 5:00pm-6:00pmLocation: Phillips Park
